چکیده
Abstract The growing masses of digital traces generated by the datafication process make algorithms that manage them increasingly central to contemporary society. There is widespread agreement in considering and as complex objects intertwine social material practices with their own cultural, historical, institutional nature (Halford et al., 2010). Accordingly, given this strong intertwining between world formed technological objects, it becomes possible consider socio-digital objects. For reason, article aims identify features allow us frame starting from concepts borrowed actor-network theory (Latour Woolgar 1879). In particular, we will first discuss opacity, authority autonomy then see how those emerge geographical traces.

Digital Objects as Passwords
Security proponents heavily emphasize the importance of choosing a strong password (one with high entropy). Unfortunately, by design, most humans are apparently incapable of generating such passwords, or memorizing a random-looking, machine-generated one for longterm use. Infrequently used passwords pose even bigger security and usability problems. We exploit the fact that many users now own or...
